Since 2011 a number of activities have continued to build the support for Rivers and Ranges CLP. RRCLP considers all of these contributors as part of our network.
In 2011 a feasibility study was undertaken to scope the concept of a CLP to stakeholders across the five municipalities. Five community conversations were held across the region and 77 community leaders contributed their ideas as to the important elements of the program. Key priorities gleaned from these original discussions have been retained throughout the development of the organisation.
On June 24 2012, 17 community members attended a workshop to continue progress toward establishing a Community Leadership Program.
Launch Business Plan
On Sunday 16 June 2013 the Steering Committee presented the Business Plan they had been commissioned to develop in front of representatives from each municipality.
In 2013 the RRCLP Advisory Committee conducted a series of ten roadshows in the following locations:

Over 70 new supporters, potential sponsors and stakeholders were connected with the program.
